Feedback Thoughts
Article 1 - “Why it’s so hard to hear negative feedback”
It's understandable why people don’t like here negative
feedback as most people would rather hear how great their work or how amazing
of a job, they are doing. The difference is negative feedback doesn’t always
have to be a bad thing it can be used to help improve one’s work, Constructive
feedback is better than normal feedback because it's used in a way to tell a
person how to become better not just that they are doing good but that they can accomplish
even better things by changing or adapting to new ways. Tim Herrera talks a lot
about this and gives a great statement on people participating in good faith,
basically meaning everyone is trying to help everyone grow as a person or colleague.
